“Peter picked us up from our hotel promptly at the meeting time and took us to Hampton Court first. We had chosen the pre purchase ticket option and it was very efficient and easy – Peter told us about the history on the way, pointed out where to start and set us on our way. After we were finished at Hampton Court, we headed to Windsor Castle. Again, Peter shared the history while we drove, took us into the castle to the point where he was allowed and then set us on our way. The one-on-one private tour is a great option and exactly what we were looking for – a personalized experience that takes all of the guess work out of traveling and visiting highlights close to London.”

“Our driver and guide were Peter. He was amazing! He does this tour about 150 times a year. His knowledge of the history of the sightings is very impressive. He was entertaining, engaging and funny. Very caring about the people in his group. He knows the best possible ways to drive you to your destination. We couldn’t be happier with his service. Peter organised our tickets to Stonehenge and the Roman Baths, so we didn’t need to line up. He was on time and his car was immaculately clean. We had a long day, but we were travelled safely and comfortably. Although British Airways has lost all our luggage’s and we were so stressed about it, this day trip with our guide Peter made us forget about our luggage troubles. So, thank you Peter for all the laughter’s and for an incredible day.”

Peter’s knowledge of the Stonehenge sight and areas of Bath and the Cotswolds made our experience interesting and worthwhile. “This is our 4th time we have used a private tour guide in our travels abroad. All have been great, but we must say this tour with Peter was the best experience we ever had! He was so personable it was delightful spending the day with him! We felt we made a friend! However, his historical knowledge of Hampton Court, Windsor Castle and British history in general was amazing and he made the entire day remarkable! There was not a question he could not answer. “We had a wonderful day with Peter! We 1st went to Oxford. We could have easily spent 2 days in Oxford! The shops were wonderful, but we really didn’t have time to visit many. If I was to do it again, we would do a whole day there. Peter got us the most bang for the back in our time there. We loved the Cotswold villages. We could have spent a day there easily. Peter was fantastic and we would definitely use him again!”

“We had a completely wonderful day with Peter. He picked us up promptly, took us to Stonehenge and timed our visit perfectly to be there before the crowds arrived – we were on the second bus to the site and had a visit nearly on our own. Peter took us around Stonehenge and pointed out all the bits of archaeology and facts about the site, as well as the likely explanations around the site – an experience you would never get if you went on your own or if you were with a large tour group. After Stonehenge, we had a little time before our tickets to Bath so Peter took us to a couple of extra spots around the area that were a welcome surprise! Bath was such cool town and had much more to offer than just the Roman baths. We had plenty of time to explore the baths and look around the city before heading back to London. Peter provided such a truly wonderful experience, and we have loved spending time with him. The conversation, the flexibility, his expertise, striking the right balance between history and fun facts – a truly bespoke experience that I would recommend ten times over!”

Peter, our driver/guide was very knowledgeable of the area and its history. A very pleasant and informative outing. Peter even added a stop at Churchill’s grave.”
